Why make the video…
Last year a video was launched in the US, this video told a story of what had happened to inequality over the last 30 years. This video showed a massive gap between how unequal people thought the US was, and how unequal it really was. This video went viral.
Learning from the US experience Inequality Briefing was set up; the goal to spread understanding about the current state of inequality and make that information accessible. To do this we made a video, we hope you like it and share it with your friends. Will be publishing a weekly infographic so sign up to our briefing.
Over the coming year we will look at a range of issues surrounding inequality and present try to present it in a way that is engaging and informative.
We will cover issues like:
- Low pay and working poverty;
- What has happened to the richest 1%;
- The cost of inequality;
- The growing gap between rich and poor.
If there are any issues you think we should address and aren’t, contact us at info@inequalitybriefing.com or tweet us at @inequalitybrief
