Explaining the data
Here we have relied on the figures produced by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) in their report Wealth in Great Britain Wave 2, Wealth of the Wealthiest, 2008-10. The term wealth includes, pensions, investments, housing, physical possessions and land. ‘£1,000,000’ is rounded up from £967,000.
